Brad’s practice includes complex commercial cases and precedent-setting public interest litigation. He has appeared as lead counsel at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and in international commercial arbitration panels, administrative tribunals, and inquests. His trial and appellate experience spans business disputes, class actions, mining, banking, real estate and leasing, taxation, injunctions, the regulation of professionals, constitutional and administrative law. Brad is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and has experience with various arbitration institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce. He is the past president of The Advocates’ Society and a recipient of many awards and rankings. For 11 years, Brad led Blakes Litigation in Toronto.
