Rahool Agarwal is a dedicated and highly respected litigator with a broad practice in complex commercial and civil litigation. Serving both plaintiffs and defendants, Rahool delivers trusted counsel and strong representation in class actions, contractual disputes, franchise litigation, shareholder disputes, contested corporate transactions, directors’ and officers’ liability, and sophisticated fraud cases. He is known for successfully handling time-sensitive matters, bringing and defending urgent court proceedings with diligence and efficiency.

Rahool also has extensive experience in a wide spectrum of constitutional and public law cases, including precedent-setting matters such as the constitutionality of safe injection sites, state immunity in torture claims, and critical decisions involving physician discretion in the withdrawal of life support. His advocacy spans trial and appellate courts in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Quebec, and he has appeared in six cases before the Supreme Court of Canada.

An active member of the South Asian Bar Association and The Advocates’ Society, Rahool is recognized for his ongoing commitment to the legal community. He is a regular speaker on issues of substantive law, legal ethics, practice, and diversity and inclusion.
