Robin A.F. Squires is a distinguished partner in BLG’s Insurance and Tort Liability Group in Toronto and serves as the national leader of BLG’s Transportation Focus Group. With a strong track record advising both private and public sector clients, Robin specializes in transportation law, class actions, and defence practice.

Robin brings extensive expertise in representing ship owners and P&I Clubs in domestic and international shipping matters, as well as aviation insurers in collision and casualty claims. His legal acumen extends to defending OEMs in class actions and product liability claims, representing municipalities in police officer defence matters, and safeguarding lawyers in professional negligence cases.

Beyond litigation, Robin counsels clients on a wide range of corporate matters, liability and risk management, including the drafting of service agreements, contracts, liability releases, indemnity agreements, governance issues, and labour and employment matters.
