Rory M. Barnable brings a wealth of experience to the field of litigation, with a particular focus on marine and transportation law. His practice spans multimodal cargo transport, environmental claims, marine collisions, derailments, and groundings. Rory is recognized for handling complex insurance matters, including coverage, defence, and subrogation issues, as well as construction deficiencies and professional liability claims.

Beyond his specialty in marine and transportation law, Rory has significant experience in a wide array of litigation, including class actions, fraud, directors and officers (D&O) actions, contractual disputes, defamation, and cases involving environmental and municipal law. He has represented clients before the Supreme Court of Canada and at various judicial levels across Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Prior to founding his own firm, Rory was a partner at a prominent litigation firm in Toronto and practised at leading full-service firms in both Ontario and Atlantic Canada. He holds a Masters of Laws from University College London, University of London, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of New Brunswick, and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.
