Ryan Zahara is a highly experienced lawyer based in Alberta, primarily practicing in the area of insolvency and restructuring. With extensive involvement in restructuring proceedings under both the Companies Creditors’ Arrangement Act (CCAA) and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA), Ryan has developed a strong reputation for delivering effective legal solutions in complex insolvency matters. He regularly acts on behalf of court-appointed officers, such as receivers, monitors, and trustees, and represents a diverse range of clients from industries including agriculture, retail, real estate, mining, oil and gas, and manufacturing.

Ryan is frequently seen before the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Appeal, and has represented clients at the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also appeared before the Saskatchewan Court of King’s Bench and the Ontario Superior Court.
