Sarah K. Gardiner is a distinguished partner at BLG’s Toronto office, specializing in investment funds, investment management, alternative asset management, securities regulation, and registrant compliance. With a focus on advising investment fund managers, portfolio managers, and dealers, Sarah offers exceptional legal counsel on the formation and management of various investment funds, including hedge funds and private equity funds.

Renowned for her expertise, Sarah provides strategic advice on key legal and regulatory issues that impact the establishment and operation of investment funds and other securities. She has a unique perspective gained from her experience as Legal Counsel in the Registrant Regulation Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission, and from her secondment to a major wealth management company, where she offered daily guidance on regulatory and corporate matters.

Sarah actively contributes to the legal community as the co-Chair of the Legal, Finance and Compliance Committee of AIMA Canada.
