Steve Suarez is a distinguished partner in the Tax Group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) in Toronto. As the founder of Business Tax Canada, Steve is committed to informing non-resident businesses and investors about important Canadian tax issues. He is extensively involved in the Canadian legal and business tax community, serving as the co-chair of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (Tax & Economics Committee), co-chair of the Toronto Centre Canada Revenue Agency & Tax Professionals Consultation Group, and co-chair of the Mining Association of Canada (Tax Committee). Steve is also a past chair of the Ontario Bar Association (Tax Section) and a former member of the CBA–CICA Joint Committee on Taxation.
