Vivek T.A. Warrier is a distinguished partner in the Corporate Group at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP’s Calgary office. With a primary focus on the entire energy value chain, Vivek provides legal expertise from extraction and energy generation to transportation, transmission, and the marketing of energy products. His clients benefit from comprehensive counsel on some of Canada’s most transformative energy infrastructure projects, including liquefied natural gas export facilities, equity participation opportunities between project proponents and First Nations, renewable energy partnerships, and development of linear infrastructure across the country.

In addition to his work in energy law, Vivek’s portfolio includes a significant track record in private mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He is highly sought after for guidance in structuring, ownership, and operational matters concerning complex energy infrastructure.

Vivek is a director of the Canadian Energy Law Foundation and actively contributes to the legal and professional community as an executive member of the ABA International Energy and Environmental Law Section. He also imparts his knowledge as a past instructor of Oil and Gas Contracts at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law.
