Derry Millar is a highly respected Canadian lawyer with decades of experience in civil litigation and administrative law. Called to the Ontario bar in 1974, Mr. Millar serves as Counsel at WeirFoulds LLP and has built a distinguished legal career recognized across Canada. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

Mr. Millar has appeared before every level of court in Ontario, the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, and numerous administrative tribunals. As a seasoned arbitrator and mediator, he is regularly engaged in resolving complex legal disputes. He notably acted as lead commission counsel for the Ipperwash Inquiry, showcasing his expertise and commitment to justice.

His leadership in the legal profession includes serving as Treasurer (President) of the Law Society of Ontario (LSO), and he was first elected a bencher (director) of the LSO in 1995.
