Yun Li-Reilly is a distinguished partner in Farris LLP’s Litigation and Family Departments, offering extensive experience in a diverse range of legal matters including corporate, commercial, civil, family, estate, strata, and tenancy disputes. Yun represents individuals, corporations, and institutional clients before all levels of court in British Columbia, the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as various administrative tribunals and professional disciplinary bodies.

With law degrees from both Harvard Law School and the University of British Columbia, alongside a background in psychology and neuroscience, Yun brings a unique perspective and depth of understanding to every case. Her impressive legal career includes serving as judicial law clerk to Justices Newbury and Lowry of the BC Court of Appeal, acting as a consultant for the Court of Appeal’s Rule Reform Project, and co-authoring the authoritative British Columbia Annual Practice, a leading procedural text relied upon by both the judiciary and legal professionals across the province.

In addition to her practice, Yun lectures in law at Simon Fraser University and actively contributes to the legal community through board memberships, including the UBC Women’s and Children’s Research Ethics Board. She is a proud member of professional organizations such as the Women’s White Collar Defense Association and the Canadian Federation of Asian Lawyers.

Known for her commitment to legal excellence and community engagement, Yun Li-Reilly is dedicated to providing strategic, results-driven representation to her clients. Born in China and raised in New Zealand, she brings an international outlook to her Vancouver-based practice. Away from the office, she is an enthusiastic marathon runner and enjoys life with her husband, toddler, and four pets.
