Alyson F. Goldman is a seasoned corporate lawyer who advises public and private companies, independent committees, underwriters, and financial advisors on a wide range of securities and corporate law matters. Her expertise encompasses public offerings, private placements of debt and equity securities, financial advisory matters, corporate governance, takeover bids, mergers, reorganizations, shareholder activism, proxy contests, stock exchange listings, regulatory compliance, and general corporate matters.
Alyson is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, Law Society of Ontario, Canadian Bar Association, Calgary Bar Association, CFA Society Calgary, and the Institute of Corporate Directors. She earned her BA Honours from the University of Western Ontario and her LLB from Queen’s University. As a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Alyson brings a unique financial perspective to her legal practice. She has also completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program, further enhancing her expertise in corporate governance.
Alyson actively contributes to the community as a member of the Board of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, where she serves on the Governance Committee and Investment Committee.
