André Royer is a partner at BLG’s Montreal office, bringing over 25 years of expertise in labour and employment law, human rights, and administrative law. André provides strategic advice and representation to employers on a wide range of labour relations matters, including occupational health and safety disputes, employment contracts, collective labour agreements, and more.
He represents clients before various tribunals and courts, including the Commission des relations du travail, the Commission des lésions professionnelles, and the Criminal and Penal Division of the Court of Québec in penal cases.
Since 2005, André has been an instructor for the École du Barreau du Québec, focusing on Labour and Employment Law. He also delivers tailored training courses to businesses on a variety of labour relations issues.
André has been recognized for his excellence in labour and employment law in The Best Lawyers in Canada (2022 and since 2019) and in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory (Labour Relations, 2019).
