Aaron D. Atkinson is a partner at Harper Grey and a key member of the firm’s Health and Insurance Law Groups. He provides legal counsel to physicians on civil medico-legal matters and represents them in disciplinary proceedings before the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. In his insurance law practice, Aaron handles insurance defense, subrogation, and coverage matters, offering legal support to a wide range of insurers and self-insured organizations.
Aaron’s defense work includes property damage claims, construction deficiencies, bodily injury cases, general insurance disputes, and professional negligence claims involving home inspectors. He has successfully defended and negotiated settlements in numerous bodily injury cases, including those related to occupiers’ liability, product liability, assaults, sports injuries, commercial host liability, and motor vehicle accidents. Additionally, Aaron has acted as counsel before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal, demonstrating his broad expertise in insurance and liability law.
