Alan S. Harvie has been practicing energy, environmental, and regulatory law since 1989, providing strategic legal counsel to the upstream oil and gas and power industries. A former chairman of the firm’s environmental law practice group and a member of the energy department, Alan specializes in addressing commercial, operational, environmental, and regulatory issues for clients across various sectors.
Alan has extensive experience advising the oil and gas industry on commercial transactions and regulatory matters, including facility, well, and pipeline applications and transactions. His expertise extends to a wide range of industries and projects, including power plants, transmission and distribution lines, renewable energy projects, tourism and recreation developments, forestry, mining, commercial real estate, and industrial facilities.
