Andrew’s practice focuses on surety and construction law. He advises and represents sureties, owners, contractors, and other companies across Canada on: bonding issues and bond claims; construction disputes and litigation; liens and lien litigation; drafting and negotiating contracts; procurement and development issues. Andrew’s surety experience includes bond claims of any size or complexity. He is a go-to advisor for all bonding issues and works with virtually all bonding companies doing business in Canada. He is also regularly engaged by new sureties entering the Canadian market.

A large part of Andrew’s surety practice also includes proactive risk management, as well as pursuing rights of recovery. Andrew also has a general construction law practice for issues arising between owners (both public and private), contractors, and subcontractors. His construction practice includes litigation and all aspects of contract drafting and negotiation. While representing clients involved in litigation, he regularly appears before various Ontario courts and has appeared before courts in other provinces.
