Arnold Cohen is a senior partner, co-chairman of the Norton Rose Fulbright asset-based lending team in Canada, and chairman of the Montreal debt finance practice group. His practice encompasses comprehensive expertise in financing and insolvency/restructuring.

With a focus on asset-based lending, Arnold Cohen expertly represents leading US and Canadian lenders in a diverse array of financing endeavors. These include domestic, multi-jurisdictional, and cross-border financings, such as corporate and commercial financings, capital market transactions, and acquisition and leveraged buy-out financings, on both syndicated and non-syndicated terms.

Cohen also regularly advises lenders, bank syndicates, and corporate borrowers in cash flow, structured, second lien, mezzanine, and high-yield financings as well as financings for real estate, receivables, and equipment.

Arnold Cohen’s restructuring practice is equally robust, representing secured lenders, trustees, receivers, and corporate clients in all facets of the insolvency and restructuring process. This includes reorganizations, acquisitions, turnarounds, and enforcement of security and creditors’ rights. He has a notable record of appearances before various courts in these matters.
