Bernard Amyot is one of the founding partners of the firm. With over 35 years of experience, he has honed a practice centered on civil and commercial litigation. He boasts extensive experience across all Quebec courts, federal courts, and the Supreme Court of Canada, representing some of Canada’s top financial institutions and corporations. His role as lead counsel in numerous class actions has involved multiple Canadian jurisdictions and cross-border issues. Bernard’s professional liability defence has encompassed defending lawyers, stockbrokers, insurance brokers, engineers, and accountants, in addition to handling shareholders’ rights cases.

Regularly sought as an arbitrator or mediator for significant commercial matters, Bernard is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), and the International Society of Barristers.
