Beverley Moore leads Borden Ladner Gervais LLP’s IP Litigation group and specializes in all areas of IP litigation. She excels in handling complex litigation in the Federal Court and actions under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. Beverley offers expert advice on IP regulatory issues, including listing patents on the Patent Register, reporting to the PMPRB, Certificates of Supplementary Protection, and data protection related to the Register of Innovative Drugs.

In addition to IP litigation, Beverley guides clients on patent portfolio management, patentability, validity, and freedom-to-operate issues. She is actively involved in the IP community, serving in various roles such as a past Director of the IPIC/McGill Understanding Patents Course, Chair of the CBA IP Section’s Court Practice Committee, and Co-Vice Chair of IPO’s Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Issues Committee. Beverley also contributes as an editor for Carswell’s Consolidated Intellectual Property Statutes and Regulations.

Beverley’s dedication extends to mentoring associates within her firm and IP practitioners through IPO’s mentoring programs. She frequently shares her insights on issues related to her practice through speaking engagements and writing. Her advocacy skills are well-recognized, having represented clients before the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the PMPRB.
