Some of his recent transactions include advising Pretium Resources in connection with its acquisition by Newcrest for $3.5 billion, Nevsun Resources in connection with the $1.4-billion takeover bid by Lundin Mining which resulted in a friendly agreement with Zijin Mining to acquire Nevsun for $1.8 billion; and Great Bear Resources in connection with its acquisition by Kinross for $1.8 billion.
