Brent Olthuis, KC, is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience in a wide array of commercial and public law disputes. With a growing reputation as a “first instance” litigator, Brent effectively navigates trial courts and various administrative tribunals. He also upholds a strong appellate and judicial review practice. His outstanding skill and dedication have been acknowledged in respected publications such as Chambers, Best Lawyers, Who’s Who Legal, Benchmark Litigation, The Legal 500 Canada, and Martindale-Hubbell, where he holds an AV/Preeminent rating.

An accomplished author, Brent has contributed peer-reviewed articles on substantive and procedural legal topics and writes the “Professional Conduct” chapter in Canadian Legal Practice. He is a prominent faculty member in professional development programs by The Advocates’ Society and CLEBC.

Recognized as a leader at the Bar, Brent currently serves as a director of CLEBC and has previously held similar roles with the BC Law Institute and as an elected CBABC Provincial Council representative.
