Constantine Karbaliotis

Constantine Karbaliotis specializes in global privacy compliance and privacy management, holding numerous privacy credentials including CIPP/C/US/E, CIPT, CIPM, CDPSE, and FIP. He is an active participant at international privacy events, frequently speaking, teaching, and contributing his expertise. Before joining nNovation LLP in 2020, Constantine was a director at PwC Canada, contributing significantly to its privacy practice. His experience includes serving as vice president at Nymity, and as chief privacy officer at Mercer, where he also led the global privacy compliance program at Symantec. In these roles, he expertly managed multinational compliance and spearheaded the development and implementation of privacy programs, policies, and technology initiatives.

Currently, he offers advisory services to clients, assisting in privacy program development and contractual issues such as data transfer agreements for international privacy/security compliance. Additionally, Constantine supports clients with training, education, and policy responses to evolving Canadian laws. He extends his expertise through teaching at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies. His prior experience also includes serving as an executive consultant at CGI, leading its privacy and security practice in Toronto.
