Daniel is the Practice Group Leader of the Real Estate group in Montreal. His practice covers all aspects of real estate transactions, with emphasis on acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, financing and development, involving major commercial real estate properties of various classes. He has experience in commercial leasing, having acted for both tenants and landlords in leasing transactions, in the pharmaceutical, banking services, food and retail industries. Daniel assists clients in the energy and natural resources sectors with wind power and mining exploration projects in Quebec. In that context, he has supervised the assembling of lands and the establishment of superficies rights on private lands. Daniel is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Urban Development Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centres. He regularly speaks at conferences and has authored and co-authored several articles on a variety of real estate topics.
