Daniel Leduc is a partner and currently chairs the Montreal employment and labour law group. He advises employers in complex matters in both federal and Quebec jurisdictions in regards to the application and interpretation of collective agreements, labour standards, and human rights and freedoms. He is particularly qualified to provide advice on issues related to labour standards, restrictive covenants, and certification. He also has in-depth knowledge of workplace harassment issues and experience in leading discrimination cases. Leduc is also well versed in executive compensation, including stock option plans as well as short- and long-term incentive plans. Leduc is also a seasoned trial lawyer who regularly represents Canada’s largest corporations, small and medium-sized businesses, public and parapublic bodies, and professional orders before grievance and dispute arbitrators, the Administrative Labour Tribunal of Quebec, the Human Rights Tribunal of Quebec, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the Superior Court of Quebec, the Federal Court of Canada, and the appeal courts. He is also regularly called upon to act as a spokesperson for collective bargaining in various sectors, including the security industry, professional orders, and manufacturing.
