Dan Bennett’s practice is centered on trial, arbitration, hearing, and appeal work related to commercial and administrative litigation. As a former national chairman for the litigation group, he has conducted a wide range of cases in commercial, real estate, and natural resource matters across BC, Alberta, and Yukon superior courts and courts of appeal, as well as the federal courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada. He regularly appears before various administrative boards, primarily addressing real estate and forestry-related issues. His recent clients include Rio Tinto Alcan Inc., Western Forest Products Inc., City of Coquitlam, and Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR).

Daniel has a strong commitment to the professional development of lawyers in the province. Besides being a long-standing adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia, he has delivered numerous lectures at CLE and other continuing education programs. He holds the FCIArb designation as a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
