David Di Paolo is the National Group Head of BLG’s Disputes Group and a leading commercial litigator renowned for his expertise in securities litigation, class actions, and shareholder disputes. He is highly adept at defending market participants in securities class actions, as well as handling securities regulatory investigations and proceedings.

His class action practice is expansive, encompassing securities, commercial, and employment class actions defense. David’s courtroom experience is extensive, having appeared before all levels of court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also represented clients before regulatory bodies such as the Ontario Securities Commission, Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada.
