David Little is the Chair of Dentons Canada’s Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies Group and the Managing Partner of the Ottawa office. His practice is focused on representing funds and emerging companies in venture capital financings, cross-border transactions, buy-outs, and mergers and acquisitions.

David regularly acts as principal external counsel for many leading venture capital investors, both private and public, in Canada and the United States, across a broad range of financing transactions. He has been involved in some of the largest VC deals in Canada over the past several years. David offers ongoing corporate and securities advice to numerous knowledge-based and other emerging companies through all growth stages—from start-up to larger-scale mergers, acquisitions, and public financings.

In addition, David advises public company clients on private and public offerings of securities, corporate governance, stock options, and other corporate matters. He frequently represents founders, senior executives, and angel investors of private companies, and currently serves as Corporate Secretary of Vintage Wings of Canada/Les Ailes D’Époque du Canada.
