Don Davies practises energy law, with a focus on regulatory and litigation fields. With over 30 years of experience, he has represented oil and gas producers, pipeline companies, and industry organizations in proceedings before the National Energy Board. Donald has acted for both proponents and intervenors in numerous applications for the approval of pipeline facilities and for determining pipeline tolls and tariffs. His practice involves handling complex issues such as environmental, Aboriginal, constitutional, jurisdictional, economic, and financial matters.

Donald Davies also boasts extensive experience before the Alberta energy regulators, including the Alberta Energy Regulator and the Alberta Utilities Commission. He has been an advocate for proponents of various energy projects, including oil sands developments, pipelines, power plants, and well and field facilities. Additionally, he represents clients in regulatory proceedings regarding electrical power facilities and utility rates and services.
