Ted’s legal career started in insurance defence litigation at a boutique law firm in Toronto, where he specialized in servicing insurance companies. In 1995, he made the pivotal switch to representing injured clients and their families, gaining a thorough understanding of both sides of the legal system. Ted has successfully represented clients in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Appeal, Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and before the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. His expertise in managing jury trials spans across several counties, from Parry Sound to Toronto to Ottawa.

In 1994, Ted became a member of the American Association for Justice and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, with which he remains actively involved. His outstanding contributions were recognized with a Distinguished Service Award from the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association in 2004. Ted is also affiliated with multiple county and district law associations, including the Durham Law Association, Northumberland Law Association, Frontenac Law Association, Lennox & Addington Law Association, Leeds Grenville Law Association, and County of Carleton Law Association.

Further highlighting his dedication to justice, Ted completed coursework in Arbitration at the University of Toronto and studied advocacy for individuals with brain injury at Brock University.
