Emma Blanchard is a distinguished partner at BLG’s Ottawa office, specializing in expropriation, planning and development, real estate, and general municipal law. Emma serves as counsel to municipal governments, leveraging her extensive experience in advocacy and negotiation. She represents public authorities in land assemblies, as well as in the construction and development of major transit and public infrastructure projects. Frequent appearances before courts and tribunals, such as the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Ontario Energy Board, underscore her proficiency in representing both public and private sector clients.
