F. Brent Perry is a distinguished legal expert specializing in business and personal tax planning. His career spans over three decades, during which time he has excelled in leading complex projects including restructuring, split-ups, acquisitions, asset divestitures, and financings. Brent’s proficiency in representing clients in tax disputes before the Canada Revenue Agency, Department of Justice, and Department of Finance highlights his robust skill set.

Brent has notably contributed to the improvement of tax laws by collaborating with various government, industry, and volunteer organizations. Since 1989, his strategic solutions have benefitted both public and private corporations, culminating in his appointment as King’s Counsel in 2000. As a key figure at Felesky Flynn, he ascended from partner to joint managing partner in 2002.

In addition to his practical accomplishments, Brent has enriched the legal and accounting communities through authoring insightful papers and conducting seminars for esteemed organizations such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and the Canadian Bar Association.
