François’s practice focuses on all areas of corporate income tax law, including mergers & acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, financing, and restructuring. He has significant experience with tax aspects of domestic and cross-border investment structures, notably with respect to private equity and venture capital investments. He also represents clients in tax disputes with Canadian tax authorities. In addition, François has extensive experience in estate planning. He is fluent in English and French.

François is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Chartered Professional Accountants, the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the International Fiscal Association, the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF), and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). He is also a Chartered Accountant and the author of numerous tax publications. François is a regular speaker at conferences on tax matters.
