Geoffrey D.E. Adair, KC, is one of Canada’s most distinguished trial and appellate lawyers. With an unparalleled track record, he has conducted over 250 jury and non-jury trials in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has argued more than 150 appeals in the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Geoff’s legal acumen spans sophisticated commercial matters, major tort and personal injury cases, legal and medical malpractice claims, and commercial insurance disputes, including Director & Officer cases.

Earlier in his career, Geoff showcased his comprehensive trial skills by trying twelve murder cases. He is a recognized Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has authored the highly-regarded text “On Trial: Advocacy Skills Law and Practice,” which is often cited by Canadian courts. Further contributing to legal literature, he is a contributing author to “Ontario Courtroom Procedure” and frequently lectures on advocacy topics at professional education programs.
