George joined Clyde & Co as a partner in 2014. He was previously a partner and head of the Toronto litigation department at a leading national law firm. George has extensive domestic and international experience in a broad range of corporate and commercial disputes. Over his 35+ year career, he has represented a wide range of businesses, leading multinational companies, individuals, and government bodies in the energy, transportation, telecommunications, infrastructure and construction, and financial sectors, amongst others. He has significant experience before the courts, as well as arbitral (domestic and international) and administrative tribunals. George regularly works with foreign counsel on cross-border issues and disputes. George holds a Qualified Arbitrator designation from the ADR Institute of Canada. He is a frequent speaker on emerging legal issues, as well as an advocacy skills instructor.
