Gerald Chan practices criminal, constitutional, administrative, and select civil litigation, offering a robust defense in white-collar criminal and regulatory cases handled by entities such as RCMP IMET, OSC, FSRA, and the Competition Bureau. His expertise spans investigations, trials, and appeals, where he has represented esteemed clients including lawyers and law firms in negligence and conflict allegations.

As a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, Gerald has been acknowledged as one of the Top 50 Trial Lawyers in Canada by Benchmark. His legal acumen is further demonstrated through his involvement in over 20 cases before the Supreme Court of Canada. Gerald also serves as an advocacy advisor with the Supreme Court Advocacy Institute, contributing his widespread knowledge and experience.

Gerald has made substantial contributions to legal literature by co-authoring and editing numerous legal texts, along with teaching roles at the National Criminal Law Program and the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law.
