Hollis Bromley is a Partner in Alexander Holburn’s Insurance Practice. Her practice is primarily litigation-based, with an emphasis on insurance defence and insurance coverage. She effectively handles claims ranging from bodily injury and property damage to employment and human rights defence, and represents clients in class actions, complex commercial, and regulatory matters.

Hollis acts for insurers in relation to all types of coverages, including CGL, D&O, E&O, Cyber, EPL, All-risks, Wrap-up and Course of Construction policies. She defends claims and provides expert coverage advice for out-of-province motor vehicle insurers and their insureds.

An active member of the insurance defence legal community, Hollis is a two-term past Chair of the Insurance Section of the Canadian Bar Association’s British Columbia Branch and a three-term President of The ARC Group Canada. This network of independent law firms across Canada delivers tailored insurance and risk-related legal services to insurers and self-insured companies.

She is also a regular contributor to insurance industry publications and a presenter for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Defence Lawyers.
