Isabelle Jomphe is a partner and head of Lavery’s Intellectual Property Group. Her expertise includes trademarks, industrial designs, copyrights, domain names, trade secrets, technology transfers, as well as advertising law, labelling, and Charter for the French language regulations. Isabelle is known for providing strategic and practical advice in all aspects of IP, with an emphasis on trademarks and advertising law.

She advises clients with respect to their product launch, branding strategies, and advertising campaigns, through trademark clearance searches and filing strategies in Canada and abroad. For years, she has been trusted by multinational corporations to be their IP counsel and guardian of their brands. Apart from being an expert in the protection and management of trademark portfolios, she has been involved in numerous corporate transactions, due diligence, licensing, and litigation matters involving IP assets.
