Michael’s leadership as counsel was key in establishing syndicated credit facilities for esteemed clients such as Suncor Energy Inc., Cenovus Energy Inc., Ovintiv Canada ULC, Crew Energy Inc., and TransCanada PipeLines Limited. Notably, he served as lead counsel for the lender’s project financing of the Sturgeon County Refinery developed by North West Redwater Partnership, and as lead counsel for the borrower financing the Coastal GasLink Pipeline.
