Steve Lutz is an experienced and acclaimed financial services lawyer in the firm’s Toronto office. He routinely acts for banks, financial institutions, private capital, and public and private borrowers in domestic and cross-border asset-based financings, equipment financings, leasing transactions, multicurrency syndicated financings, project financings, first lien/second lien financings, acquisition financings, and debt restructuring transactions. He has served as counsel in deals ranging in size from $10 million to more than $1 billion and across multiple sectors including automotive, consumer, entertainment, equipment leasing, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and technology. His experience includes drafting template loan and security documentation for some of the largest Canadian and US banks and financial institutions.
