Jeremy’s practice covers a broad spectrum of tax law, including tax planning, GST/HST matters, reorganizations, and mergers. He has a particular interest in designing and implementing tax-effective employee stock option plans for private corporations. Jeremy graduated from the University of Alberta in 2004 with a combined LLB/MBA degree, earning various academic awards.

Prior to joining Felesky Flynn in 2007, Jeremy clerked at the Federal Court of Appeal and practiced law at a leading national firm in Calgary. He served as managing partner for Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Toronto from 2015–2022. From respected tax publications to vital regional conferences, Jeremy has contributed influential research and ideas to shape the industry.

He is recognized as a leading tax lawyer by The Best Lawyers in Canada and is ranked as a Leading Lawyer in Corporate Tax as well as Finance and M&A by Lexpert. Jeremy is also a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta, teaching the Intro to Taxation and Corporate Tax courses. An avid golfer, biker, and skier, Jeremy promotes healthy lifestyles as a board member with the YMCA of Northern Alberta.
