An experienced commercial litigator, Joëlle Boisvert counsels large national and international companies on a variety of complex dispute matters. With over 35 years of experience, she has extensive knowledge in class actions and litigation related to commercial and real estate disputes. Her practice has seen her plead before federal and provincial courts, as well as administrative tribunals. Joëlle has significant experience in both national and international arbitration and mediation and serves as an arbitrator herself.

Previously, Joëlle was the head of international development at Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP from 2018 to 2023 and was the first woman to manage the firm’s Montreal office from 2014 to 2017. She also holds the distinction of being the first woman Canadian partner on Gowling WLG’s international board. Joëlle is committed to promoting the advancement and leadership of women in all professional and commercial areas.
