Kent Kufeldt is a distinguished partner in BLG’s Vancouver and Calgary offices and serves as the National Business Leader of the firm’s Securities & Capital Markets Group. Additionally, he is an active member of BLG’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Leadership Team. Kent is renowned for representing public issuers and underwriters in both public and private debt and equity financings, initial public offerings, and cross-border financing transactions.

His extensive experience includes merger, acquisition, and reorganization transactions, effectively acting for both acquiring and target companies in hostile takeovers and negotiated acquisitions. Kent has played significant roles in innovative transactions across corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions areas. Furthermore, he is a valued Member of the Board of Governors for the Business Council of British Columbia.
