Ky Kvisle’s practice is centered around commercial transactions and project development, predominantly in the realms of natural resources and industrial infrastructure. He has extensive experience handling both international and domestic matters across all segments of the energy sector, including upstream, midstream, and downstream/marketing. Beyond energy, Ky’s expertise spans agriculture, electricity, petrochemical, technology, and mining sectors.

Ky is adept in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, EPC and supply chain agreements, ESG matters, commodities trading, energy derivatives agreements, carbon emissions, and offset trading. His capabilities extend to corporate reorganizations, project and acquisition financings, distressed asset transactions, and energy infrastructure development and operational agreements.

Ky brings a wealth of international experience, having been seconded to Blake’s offices in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, where he represented Canadian companies with Middle Eastern investments and work with major regional enterprises. Prior to his tenure at Blakes, Ky gained industry insight working in the legal department of a large international oil and gas company based in Canada.
