Lara Zee is a partner at Harper Grey LLP, where she serves as the assistant chair of the Professional Regulation Group. Called to the BC Bar in 1996, Lara began her practice focusing on administrative law, health law, and professional regulation. She represents regulated health professionals, including physicians, dentists, and psychologists. Lara was in-house counsel with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia from 2009 to 2011, before returning to Harper Grey LLP.

A dedicated mentor and advocate for equality and diversity, Lara chairs the Student Recruitment and Respectful Workplace Committees. She is an accomplished author in administrative law and a frequent speaker on professional regulation and regulatory compliance. Additionally, she has served as a guest instructor in health law at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law.

Lara’s practice includes representing physicians before the College of Physicians and Surgeons, advocating for health care professionals before the Health Professions Review Board and various administrative tribunals, and advising on admission into professions, licensing, transfer of practice, and fitness to practice.
