Laura Cundari is a seasoned advocate with extensive experience appearing as lead counsel in courts across Canada, as well as before arbitral and administrative tribunals. She has a robust background in litigating and arbitrating disputes across various sectors including energy, mining, cannabis, hospitality, entertainment, technology, and infrastructure. Laura regularly serves as dispute resolution counsel for issues within the private equity and investment fund sector.

As a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Laura possesses deep expertise in the arbitration of complex domestic and international disputes. In 2021, she was appointed by the Government of British Columbia for a five-year term as a roster member for the province’s Bid Protest Mechanism and Dispute Resolution panels, under the New West Partnership Trade Agreement and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

Additionally, Laura serves as an independent neutral and has been included in the rosters of various arbitral institutions. She co-chairs the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution’s Canada Advisory Board, co-leads the North American Group of the Silicon Valley Arbitration & Mediation Center, is part of the ICDR’s Canada Advisory Committee and the ICC Canada Arbitration Committee, and is a board member of CanArbWeek.
