Leanne Goldstein is a seasoned insurance and disability attorney with a focus on long-term disability benefits, critical illness, and life insurance claims. Her practice also encompasses workplace-related disabilities. For over two decades, Leanne has passionately advocated for individuals whose benefits were wrongfully denied by insurance companies.

With an extensive background in litigation, Leanne has represented clients before various courts and tribunals. Her career began at a large international law firm before 2002, after which she moved to one of Ontario’s top ten personal injury law firms. For the next 16 years, she represented individuals denied long-term disability benefits at two leading disability law firms. Since 2019, she has owned and operated her own law firm, dedicated to serving the needs of insurance claimants.

Leanne is frequently invited to speak at professional organizations, including the Long-Term Disability Section of the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association. She has authored numerous articles and a book chapter on Critical Illness. Her commitment extends beyond the courtroom as she serves as a mentor for the Law Practice Program through TMU and is a Board Member of Family Services of Peel. Leanne also volunteers for disability-related charitable causes and provides pro bono legal education and services to community legal clinics.
