Linda Hogg is a distinguished partner and leader of the Corporate Finance, M&A, Private Equity, and General Corporate Counsel Practice Groups at Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office. With a focus on corporate and securities law, she specializes in corporate finance for both public and private companies, mergers and acquisitions, and the mining sector.

Linda represents domestic and international companies with interests spanning mining, alternative energy, various local industries, and business investments across Europe, Asia, North, and South America. Her comprehensive practice includes navigating mineral property options, joint ventures, option/earn-ins, royalties, public and private equity, debt financings, corporate reorganizations, acquisitions, corporate governance, corporate and securities regulatory compliance, shareholder meetings, dissident proxy solicitations, and stock exchange listings.

In addition to her legal practice, Linda imparts her knowledge through teaching. She conducts a course in collaboration with the TSX Venture Exchange and the BC Securities Commission at Simon Fraser University, focusing on financing, governance, and compliance for public companies. Moreover, she serves as an instructor for the TSX Venture Exchange Rules and Tools course.
