Mark Zigler is a distinguished senior partner in the Pensions and Benefits Group at Koskie Minsky LLP, with a specialized focus on pension, employee benefits, class actions, and insolvency. Recognized for his excellence in the field, Mr. Zigler was honored with the Ontario Bar Association Award for Excellence in Pension and Benefits Law in 2015. In 2018, he served as co-lead counsel to the Ontario Long Term Care Homes Public Inquiry.

He provides expert counsel to several multi-employer pension and benefit plans across both private and public sectors, advising trustees, unions, groups of employees, and pensioners. Mr. Zigler has been instrumental in numerous high-profile cases and class actions throughout Canada involving pensions, benefits, and employment-related issues.

As a prolific contributor to legal literature, he is the co-editor and author of “Employee Benefits in Canada,” now in its 4th edition, and serves as senior editor of the IFEBP Canadian Legal & Legislative Reporter.
