Nader R. Hasan practises criminal, regulatory, and constitutional law at both trial and appellate levels. He defends clients accused of all forms of criminal misconduct, including white collar crime, drug offences, homicide, sexual offences, and professional misconduct. With recognized expertise in digital privacy law and search and seizure issues, Nader has appeared in many leading cases in these areas and has argued before the Supreme Court of Canada in over 20 cases.

As an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, Nader lectures on criminal and constitutional law, sharing his wealth of experience with future legal professionals. He is also a respected co-author of legal texts including Search & Seizure (Emond Publishing, 2021), Sentencing, 9th Edition (LexisNexis, 2017), and Digital Privacy: Criminal, Civil and Regulatory Litigation (LexisNexis, 2018).

Nader R. Hasan holds a BA from Harvard University, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and a JD from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. He served as a law clerk to former Justice Marshall Rothstein of the Supreme Court of Canada and is called to the bars in both Ontario (2007) and New York (2008).
