Nora Osbaldeston is regional managing partner (Ontario) and past national lead of the financial services group at Miller Thomson. She has extensive experience acting for financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a variety of domestic and international financings across many industries. She is an independent director of RFA Bank Canada, a schedule 1 bank under the Bank Act of Canada, and is the chairwoman of its governance, conduct review, and compensation committee and a member of its audit committee. She is a board member and chairs the finance committee of Multilaw, a leading global network of 100 independent law firms in 100 countries. She is named in The Best Lawyers in Canada for banking and finance and in Lexpert. She is a past recipient of a Lexpert Zenith Award, celebrating leading Women in Canada, WXN Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women, and the inaugural Federated Press Women in Law Leadership Award, for exceptional achievement and outstanding leadership by a Canadian woman lawyer.
