Peter Bouzalas is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance matters for private companies and private equity funds. He also assists business clients with respect to the incorporation/formation, organization, financing and corporate governance of their companies or other corporate entities, the drafting of shareholder, partnership, limited partnership, and joint venture agreements, as well as the drafting of a range of commercial agreements including manufacturing, supply, and vendor/distribution agreements. He provides advice to clients in various industries including construction, entertainment, gaming, fiduciary services, infrastructure, manufacturing and distribution, software, and waste management/recycling. He also frequently advises US and other international companies and private equity funds venturing into Canada. Licensed to practice in both Ontario and New York State, he is a member of the firm’s US initiative and co-leads the team responsible for New York.
